Actor-director Billy Bob Thornton is planning to co-write and direct a new movie titled, And Then We Drove, based on his marriage to actor Angelina Jolie. The 56-year-old, who married Jolie in Las Vegas in 2000 after first meeting her while filming Pushing Tin, says the film will have parallels to
his union to the screen beauty, reported Contactmusic.
“The film is about a guy who’s on a road trip and picks up this girl along the way, and what happens to them. It’s about the question of life, ‘What is this? Where do I fit in?,’ Thornton said.
The former couple were known for their bizarre behaviour and eccentric displays of affection, including each of them wearing a small vial of the other’s blood around their necks.
