The International Crimes Tribunals on Monday indicted Jamaat-e-Islami top leaders Motiur Rahman Nizami and Abdul Quader Mollah for committing crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
With the charge framing, the war crimes trials against the two detained Jamaat leaders began formally.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami was charged with 16 specific crimes that include genocide, murder, conspiracy, planning, incitement and complicity.
